Areva T&D Board to consider Scheme of Amalgamation

Areva T&D India Ltd has announced that at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company scheduled to be held on October 27, 2006, it is proposed to consider a Scheme of Amalgamation for the merger of AREVA T&D Systems India Ltd, AREVA T&D Instrument Transformers India Pvt Ltd and AREVA T&D Lightning Arresters Pvt Ltd with the Company.
