Fire on Shreyas Shipping & Logistics Ltd's Vessel 'M.V. SSL Brahmaputra'

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics Ltd has announced that one of the vessel M.V. SSL Brahmaputra (referred as the 'Vessel'), while on her voyage from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), India to Jebel Ali-Sohar, UAE on 1st January, 2024 around 07:12 hrs LT and in approximate position 2114N/06619E (about 200N.Miles off Gujarat Cost, India) reported fire in the Engine Room.

All crew on board of the Vessel are reported safe and there has been no pollution.

To the best of our knowledge and belief, the loss caused if any, will be covered by insurance however, the exact assessment of damages sustained in the fire incident remains to be ascertained. Further assessment of damages and next course of action is being evaluated.

Shares of Shreyas Shipping & Logistics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 284.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 284.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 10348 in over 400 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 287.40 and intraday low of 281.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2949521.00.
