Fire at stock yard of Star Paper Mills Ltd

Star Paper Mills Ltd has announced that a fire occurred in one of the Stock yards of the Mill at Saharanpur (UP) on 18th Dec., 2023 which was controlled later on with the help of local administration. Some quantities of wood of the Mill stacked in the above yard destroyed due to the fire. There is no human casuality reported due to above accident.

The company has the insurance policy and the accident has been reported to Insurance company. The extent of damage is being ascertained.

The plant operations are unaffected due to above incident.

Shares of Star Paper Mills Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 234.50 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 231.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3206 in over 435 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 238.70 and intraday low of 229.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 753283.00.
