Sealmatic India Ltd (further referred as Sealmatic), listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: BOM: 543782) reported that is has bagged one of the most prestigious order to supply 26 API mechanical seals along with 26 API Plans for various pumps in the BBU, RFU, ARU & CDU unit at BPCL Mumbai for OISD project.

Bharat Petroleum Mumbai Refinery (BPCL - MR) is one of the most versatile refineries in India and excels in all aspects like quality, technology, energy, human relations, safety, environmental friendliness and operating cost. BPCL Mumbai refinery was commissioned in 1955 with a crude oil processing capacity of 2.2 MMTPA. The refining capacity has been augmented to the present level of 12 MMT through progressive revamps, the addition of various process units and the incorporation of advanced refining technologies.
The major secondary processing units initially were Commissioned Diesel Hydrotreating Unit (DHT), Naphtha Isomerization (ISOM) & Gasoline Treatment Unit (GTU) to meet the government mandate of producing 100% BS-VI fuels.

Under this mandate various refineries in India undertook the projects of converting single mechanical seals to double mechanical seals in compliance with API standards.
