UltraTech Cement Ltd acquires 0.54 MTPA cement grinding assets of Burnpur Cement Ltd

UltraTech Cement Limited has acquired a 0.54 mtpa cement grinding assets of Burnpur Cement Limited, located at Patratu in Jharkhand at a consideration of Rs.169.79 crores in terms of the provisions of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 read with the Security Interest (Enforcement) Rules, 2002. This investment marks the Company's entry in the State of Jharkhand.

The Company's capacity in India now stands at 133 mtpa.

Shares of UltraTech Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 8726.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 8728.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3743 in over 991 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 8788.45 and intraday low of 8693.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 32716192.00.
