Subros Ltd expects incremental business opportunities due to new proposal

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India has issued draft rules vide notification dated 10th July, 2023 proposing to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989; mandating, that vehicles of N2 category (3.5 tonnes and above but less than 7.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Weight) and N3 category (7.5 tonnes and above Gross Vehicle Weight) manufactured on or after 1st January, 2025 shall be fitted with an air-conditioning system for cabins.

This may have incremental business opportunities to the vehicle air-conditioning component manufacturing companies.
