Suzlon Energy Ltd approves conversion of 1,59,13,280 partly paid-up shares

The Securities Issue Committee of the Board of Directors of Suzlon Energy Limited, by way of circular resolution passed on 7th July 2023, approved conversion of 1,59,13,280 (One Crore Fifty Nine Lacs Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred Eighty) partly paid-up equity shares having a face value of Rs.2.00 each with Re.1.00 paid-up and bearing ISIN IN9040H01011 in to fully paid-up equity shares having a face value of Rs.2.00 each with Rs.2.00 paid-up bearing ISIN INE040H01021 on receipt of First and Final Call aggregating to Rs.3,97,83,200/- (Rupees Three Crores Ninety Seven Lacs Eighty Three Thousand Two Hundred Only) (hereinafter referred to as the "Converted Rights Equity Shares").

The Company is in process of completing necessary formalities for corporate actions / obtaining listing and trading approvals in respect of the Converted Rights Equity Shares.

As on date, the paid-up capital of the Company is Rs.2489,80,37,460/- (Rupees Two Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Nine Crores Eighty Lacs Thirty Seven Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Only) divided into 1242,49,50,377 (One Thousand Two Hundred Forty Two Crores Forty Nine Lacs Fifty Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Seven) fully paid-up equity shares having a face value of Rs.2.00 (Rupees Two Only) each bearing ISIN INE040H01021 and 4,81,36,706 (Four Crores Eighty One Lacs Thirty Six Thousand Seven Hundred Six) partly paid-up equity shares having a face value of Rs.2.00 (Rupees Two Only) each with Re.1.00 (Rupee One Only) each paid-up bearing ISIN IN9040H01011.

Shares of Suzlon Energy Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 17.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 17.46. The total number of shares traded during the day was 76178082 in over 43147 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 17.95 and intraday low of 16.62. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1307508962.00.
