Sanghi Industries Limited has announced that the operations at the Cement Plant of the Company located at Sanghipuram , Village Motiber, Taluka Abdasa, Kutch District, Gujarat is discontinued with effect from 13th June, 2023 due to the forthcoming "Cyclone Biporjoy" in the Arabian Sea, which is expected to touchdown between Mandvi (Gujarat) and Karachi (Pakistan) near the Jakhau Port (Gujarat) (which is 40 kms away from our Plant) on Thursday, 15th June, 2023 evening as a very severe cyclonic storm.
Considering the severity of the Cyclone, rough weather conditions and warnings & advisory issued by Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) and the Local Authorities, State and Central Government Authorities, the Company has prepared itself to face the situation with caution and have made the "Bijporjoy" emergency preparedness.
The Company has also made several arrangements for the safety of its workers, employees and all the other people staying in nearby villages for shifting them to safe places like schools, temples and has made arrangement for their transportation, food, grocery, first aid facility, oxygen facility, ambulances, continuous Radar and CCTV monitoring etc.
The company will resume the operations at plant upon restoration of normal conditions and in due compliance of various advisory issued by the Government Authorities from time to time.
Shares of Sanghi Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 69.03 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 68.57. The total number of shares traded during the day was 12414 in over 172 trades.
