ITC Ltd increases stake in Sproutlife Foods Private Limited to 39.42%

ITC Ltd has on 4th May, 2023 acquired 2,443 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each and 7,215 Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares of Rs. 10/- each for an aggregate consideration of Rs. 175 crores.

With the aforesaid acquisition, the Company's shareholding in Sproutlife aggregates 39.42% of its share capital on a fully diluted basis.

Shares of ITC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 428.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 424.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 280126 in over 5498 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 431.90 and intraday low of 424.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 119950980.00.
