Ashapura Minechem Ltd approves sale of Chamotte Plant to Orient Abrasives Ltd

The Board of Directors of Ashapura Minechem Ltd at its meeting held on Friday, 21st April, 2023 has approved the sale/transfer of its Chamotte Plant of the Company to M/s Orient Abrasives Limited, an Associate Company, subject to the approval of Shareholders by way of postal ballot.

The Company shall receive consideration of Rs. 21 Crores for the above sale/transfer.

Shares of Ashapura Minechem Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 131.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 133.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 44142 in over 993 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 134.65 and intraday low of 130.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5809279.00.
