Vardhman Special Steels Ltd announces 1:1 bonus issue

The Board of Directors of Vardhman Special Steels Ltd at its meeting held today i.e. Wednesday, 12th April, 2023, have considered and recommended Issue of Bonus Shares in the ratio of 1:1, i.e. 1 (One) Equity Share of Rs. 10/- each for every 1 (One) Equity Share of Rs. 10/- each, held by the shareholders of the Company as on the record date, subject to the approval of shareholders to be obtained by Postal Ballot. The Record Date will be announced in due course.

The board also approved increase in the Authorized Share Capital of the Company from existing Rs. 60 crore to Rs. 100 crore and consequent alteration in the Capital Clause of the Memorandum of Association of the Company, on account of issue of Bonus Shares of the Company, subject to the approval of shareholders to be obtained by Postal Ballot.

Shares of Vardhman Special Steels Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 409.80 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 426.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 17137 in over 1072 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 430.00 and intraday low of 405.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7161111.00.
