Cochin Shipyard Ltd wins total contract of Rs. 9804.98 crore

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) was declared as L1 in the tender floated for construction of 6 nos. of Next Generation Missile Vessels (NGMV). The contract for construction of said Vessels has been signed between Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and Ministry of Defence this day i.e., March 30, 2023 at New Delhi for a total contract price of Rs. 9,804.98 Crore. The first vessel is to be delivered in 48 months and the last vessel is to be delivered within 108 months.

Shares of Cochin Shipyard Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 459.30 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 416.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 61447 in over 2779 trades.
