Harpreet Singh Malhotra wins the Business Leader of the Year Award at the Northern India Multimodal Logistics Awards

Mr. Harpreet Singh Malhotra, the Chairman and Managing Director of Tiger Logistics (India) Limited, was bestowed with the esteemed Business Leader of the Year Award at the Northern India Multimodal Logistics Awards ceremony held on March 24th. The event was hosted at The Lalit in New Delhi, coinciding with Conquest 2023.

The Northern India Multimodal Logistics Awards 2023 witnessed strong participation of sectoral representatives who were recognized for their distinguished performance in various categories. The winners were selected by a distinguished jury comprising leading industry professionals. The event featured over 30 categories honoring top performers, leaders, trendsetters, and other professionals from the logistics and maritime sectors.

Mr. Harpreet Singh Malhotra founded Tiger Logistics (India) Limited in the year 2000 as a firstgeneration entrepreneur. Prior to this, he acquired his management skills by working in various capacities in the logistics and supply chain industry. Mr. Malhotra is a Commerce Graduate from Delhi University and has completed specialized courses in Foreign Trade from IIFT, New Delhi. Under his able leadership, Tiger Logistics emerged as one of the youngest logistics companies to go public in 2013, and it now boasts a turnover of ₹617 Cr. (FY 21-22) with positive year-on-year growth.

In his keynote address at Conquest 2023, Mr. Harpreet Singh Malhotra emphasized the importance of digitalization in the logistics sector. He highlighted the government's initiatives, such as ULIP, which are bound to play an integral role in the sector's transition. Furthermore, Mr. Malhotra stressed the need for faster adoption of digitalization on the customer side to bring transparency, seamlessness, and visibility to the global movement of goods.

Shares of Tiger Logistics (India) Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 336.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 350.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9986 in over 176 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 358.85 and intraday low of 335.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3412185.00.
