JSW Energy Limited updates on re-organisation

JSW Energy Limited had earlier announced about the proposed re-organisation of the Company's Green (Renewable) Business and Grey (Thermal) Business and announced about the proposed amalgamation of JSW Future Energy Limited (JSWFEL) with JSW Neo Energy Limited (JSWNEL) and their respective shareholders under Sections 230-232 of Companies Act, 2013 ('Scheme').

Post the approval of the Scheme by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench and post the receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals and post the necessary regulatory filings, the above Scheme has been made effective and JSWFEL stands amalgamated with JSWNEL with effect from the appointed date of 1st April, 2022.

Shares of JSW Energy Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 236.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 248.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1170657 in over 2850 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 249.45 and intraday low of 235.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 286942474.00.
