Sakthi Sugars Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 24, 2006, inter alia, to consider the following:

1. The Annual Accounts of the Company for the financial year ended June 30, 2006 and recommendation of dividend, if any.

2. The unaudited quarterly financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
