Vedanta Ltd declared as Preferred Bidder for Sijimali Bauxite Block in Odisha

Vedanta Limited has been declared as the preferred bidder for Sijimali Bauxite Block, located in Rayagada and Kalahandi districts of Odisha, under the mineral block auction conducted by the Government of Odisha.

The block is a strategic fit for Vedanta given its size, location, and bauxite quality. The block has estimated reserves of 311 million tonnes of bauxite.

Shares of Vedanta Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 312.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 314.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 145853 in over 3395 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 315.75 and intraday low of 311.30. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 45707691.00.
