Prime Minister hails HAL's New Helicopter Factory at Tumkuru

The Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi dedicated HAL's New Helicopter Factory to the nation at a function at Gubbi (Tumkuru), Karnataka on 6th February, 2023. He also unveiled a Light Utility Helcopter produced by HAL.

The Light Utility Helicopter initially being built in this factory is an indigenously designed and developed 3-ton class, single engine multipurpose utility helicopter with unique feature of high manoeuvrability. Initially, the factory will produce around 30 helicopters per year and it can be enhanced to 60 and then 90 helicopters per year in a phased manner.

The factory will also produce Indian Multi Role Helicopter (IMRH) and undertake Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) of helicopters in the future.

Shares of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2404.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2340.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 42141 in over 5290 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2416.00 and intraday low of 2350.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 100825737.00.
