UltraTech Cement Ltd commissions 1.5 MTPA brownfield cement grinding unit

UltraTech Cement Limited has announced the commissioning of 1.5 mpta brownfield cement grinding unit at Jharsuguda, Odisha, taking the Company's total cement capacity in the state of Odisha to 4.1mtpa.

This forms part of the on-going capacity expansion. With this commissioning the Company's total cement manufacturing capacity in India now stands at 122.85 mtpa.

Shares of UltraTech Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 7125.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 7185.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 8776 in over 1443 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 7204.95 and intraday low of 7114.45. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 62600962.00.
