Jindal Worldwide Ltd arm announces New Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Plant

Jindal Mobilitric Private Limited (JM), subsidiary of Jindal Worldwide Limited on Tuesday, announced setting-up the State-of-the-art Electric 2-Wheeler Manufacturing Plant with production capacity of 2.5 Lakh Vehicles Annually at Ahmedabad. In addition, JM is also setting-up In-House fully Automated Battery Manufacturing Plant with similar production capacity. The objective of setting-up In-House Battery Plant is to ensure highest level of Battery safety which will bring consumer trust on EV Products resulting in faster adoption of EV in India.

With Global Vision the group wants to spread it's EV wings by aiming presence all across the world. In similar lines, JM forays into Nepal Market by finalizing its first overseas Exclusive Experience Center in Kathmandu. In addition, JM is glad to announce entry in 40 Cities of 10 States of India with Exclusive Dealership network by now.

Strong network presence across India is part of aggressive Network Strategy. JM is planning to Launch Electric 2-Wheeler range of products in the Month of April'2023, targeting Premium, Executive and Mass Segment consumers and the first E-2W Teaser is out on JM social media Platform.

With In-House Technological Innovation, JM is committed to launch futuristic EV products which will address consumer concerns on Product Design, Range Anxiety, Battery Safety, Torque, Gradient, connected features and After Sales Support, enabling a clean, green and smarter tomorrow, which will motivate India to Switch from ICE to EV.

Shares of Jindal Worldwide Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 459.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 460.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 23826 in over 1322 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 468.30 and intraday low of 454.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 10965016.00.
