Welspun India Ltd prepays term loans of Rs. 45.80 crores

Welspun India Limited has prepaid term loans of Rs. 45.80 Crore as on 31st December, 2022 along with other instalments which were due as the quarter end on standalone basis. With this prepayment, the outstanding term loan on standalone basis as on 31st December, 2022 stands at Rs.129.72 Crore vis a vis Rs. 259.64 Crore as on 31st March 2022. The weighted average interest rate of the loans prepaid by the Company was 8.30% p.a.

Shares of Welspun India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 76.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 77.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 73814 in over 802 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 77.65 and intraday low of 76.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5682589.00.
