Central Bank of India to raise upto Rs. 1500 crore through bonds

The Board of Directors of Central Bank of India at its meeting held today i.e Monday, 26th December 2022, has considered and approved the proposal to raise capital through issuance of Non-convertible redeemable unsecured Base III compliant Tier II Bonds for amount upto Rs 1500/- Crore with a base size of Rs 500/- Crore and a green shoe option upto Rs 1000/- Crore during the FY 2022-23 subject to market conditions and necessary approvals.

Shares of Central Bank of India was last trading in BSE at Rs. 30.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 29.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 4517448 in over 7065 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 30.85 and intraday low of 28.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 137489043.00.
