Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd invests in Kansai Paints Lanka Pvt Ltd

Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, has a subsidiary in Sri Lanka by the name, Kansai Paints Lanka (Private) Limited, wherein the Company holds 60% of paid-up share capital.

Sri Lankan subsidiary, Kansai Paints Lanka (Private) Limited, in a further issue of shares by the subsidiary, has allotted 8,10,00,000 Ordinary shares valued at LKR 6 per share to the company. The equity contribution of the Company in the further issue of shares by the Sri Lankan subsidiary is LKR 486 million (~INR 10.99 crores). The percentage shareholding of the Company in the said subsidiary remains the same i.e. 60% of the paid-up share capital.

Shares of Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 428.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 437.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 10058 in over 972 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 438.50 and intraday low of 413.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4236991.00.
