Joonktollee Tea and Industries Ltd is now Shri Vasuprada Plantations Ltd

The shareholders of the Company approved the change in name of the Company vide special resolution in the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on November 16, 2022. Pursuant to the application made by the Company, the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal, approved the same and issued a fresh "Certificate of lncorporation" dated December 20,2022.

Accordingly, the name of the Company stands changed from "JOONKTOLLEE TEA & INDUSTRIES LIMITED" to "SHRI VASUPRADA PLANTATIONS LIMITED" with effect from December 20, 2022.

The new name aligns with the activities and product mix of the Company which are dependent on nature and mother earth who is the "bestower of wealth" - the Sanskrit term for which is "Vasuprada". The operations of the Company are geographically and product wise diversified. The new name of the Company synergises the current and future business operations of the Company.

The Company is in the process of filing required documents fo r gettinglinal approvolin respect of its change of name from JOONKTOLLEE TEA & INDUSTRIES LIMITED to "SHRI VASUPRADA PLANTATIONS LIMITED" to the Stock Exchanges for doing the needful.

Shares of Joonktollee Tea & Industries Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 80.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 80.80. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1565 in over 19 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 80.50 and intraday low of 79.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 124053.00.
