The Central Board of the State Bank of India at its Meeting held today i.e., 14.12.2022, accorded approval for raising capital by way of issuance of Basel III compliant debt instrument in INR and / or any other convertible currency, upto FY24.
The board approved raising fresh Additional Tier 1 (AT1) Capital up to an amount of Rs. 10,000 crore, subject to Govt. of India concurrence.
Shares of State Bank of India was last trading in BSE at Rs. 625.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 616.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 657396 in over 15175 trades.
