UltraTech Cement Ltd commissions 1.9 MTPA greenfield clinker capacity

UltraTech Cement Limited has announced the commissioning of 1.9 mtpa greenfield clinker backed grinding capacity at Pali Cement Works, Rajasthan. This forms part of the first phase of capacity expansion announced in December 2020.

The Company along with its subsidiary now has 16.25 mtpa cement capacity in the state of Rajasthan spread over 5 separate plant locations.

The Company's total cement manufacturing capacity in India now stands at 121.35 mtpa.

Shares of UltraTech Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 7223.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 7142.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 73292 in over 1011 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 7241.15 and intraday low of 7160.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 524086261.00.
