Apollo Tyres Ltd updates on NCLAT judgement against CCI order

Competition Commission of India ('CCI') had earlier issued an order concerning anti-competitive practices by a few tyre manufacturing companies, including Apollo Tyres Ltd. The Company had filed an appeal against the aforesaid order before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi ("NCLAT").

NCLAT through its judgement has disposed off the appeals by remanding back the case to CCI for review. The Copy of the judgement is made available on December 2, 2022 at the NCLAT website.

Shares of Apollo Tyres Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 319.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 315.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 113202 in over 2023 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 320.70 and intraday low of 315.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 36057311.00.
