Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd revises capacity of Technical Ammonium Nitrate Project

The Board of Directors of Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited, at its meeting held today, has approved revision in the capacity and estimated cost of the Technical Ammonium Nitrate Project.

The board approved revision in the capacity of the plant for manufacture of Technical Ammonium Nitrate from approximately 2,20,000 Metric Tons ("MT') per annum to 2,40,000 MT per annum including revision in the capacity of the plant to manufacture weak nitric acid (which is part of the Project) from approximately 1,80,000 MT per annum to 2,10,000 MT per annum and revision in the estimated Project cost from approximately Rs. 1170 Crore to Rs.1645 crore.

The Project is estimated to be completed in next 34 months and implementation of the Project is subject to necessary statutory and other approvals.

Shares of Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 326.20 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 326.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 42156 in over 1169 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 330.10 and intraday low of 321.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 13710330.00.
