Vesuvius India Ltd board approves additional capex

The Board of Directors of Vesuvius India Ltd at its meeting held today, i.e. October 20, 2022, has approved a proposal for the additional Capex of approx. INR 36 Crores (to be funded through internal accruals) for setting up a manufacturing plant at Vizag under the proposed wholly owned subsidiary which is being incorporated pursuant to the approval of the Board accorded on September 8, 2022.

Shares of Vesuvius India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1487.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1518.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1193 in over 375 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1514.35 and intraday low of 1483.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1786020.00.
