Accident at Foundry division of Kovilpatti Lakshmi Roller Flour Mills Limited

An unfortunate factory accident took place at the Company's Foundry division in Perianaickenpalayam, Coimbatore during the Bed Grinding Machine was in operation, which had resulted in the death of one of the Company's contract employees. There were no injuries caused to any other employees. The damages caused are fully covered under the insurance.

The Company had promptly intimated the concerned Factory Inspector and all other statutory authorities.

Further, the operations of the part of the factory have been temporarily suspended to carry out all safety and precautionary measures in compliance with the protocols but the impact is not material. The resumption of the part operations shall be announced in due course.

Shares of Kovilpatti Lakshmi Roller Flour Mills Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 114.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 112.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 7260 in over 70 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 117.50 and intraday low of 109.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 831877.00.
