President of Serbia inaugurates Motherson's wiring harness facility in Serbia

President of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić and Mr V C Sehgal Chairman, Motherson today inaugurated Motherson's new facility in Požarevac. This is Motherson's third facility in Serbia and will be manufacturing wiring harnesses for Daimler trucks. The new facility will play an important role for Motherson in supporting its commercial vehicle customers and will create exciting career opportunities for over 1000 people in the region.

The state-of-the-art facility will contribute to global growth strategy of wiring harness division. The focus will be towards making this plant self-sufficient and providing full system solutions.

The latest facility will further strengthen the company's global position as a leading automotive solutions provider and a trusted long-time partner to its customers, allowing us to provide employment and growth opportunities for our future colleagues in Požarevac area.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. V C Sehgal, Chairman, Motherson said, "We are delighted to strengthen our footprints in Serbia which has been a strategically important location for Motherson. We are committed to continuing our efforts to support the automotive sector in this region to reach its full potential.
