Canopy Finance Ltd allots 29,66,667 shares through preferential allotment

The Board of directors of Canopy Finance Limited has considered and taken note that the Company has received 100% consideration amount from all the allottees except from Mr. Ashis Mohanty who has paid consideration for 3,00,000 Equity Shares instead of 3,33,333 Equity Shares earlier proposed to be allotted.

Accordingly, the Board has considered and approved the allotment of 29,66,667 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only) each at a premium of Rs. 20/- each amounting to Rs. 8,90,00,010/- to Strategic Investors being Non-Promoters on Preferential Allotment basis.

Consequent to the aforesaid allotment of 29,66,667 Equity Shares; the paid-up equity capital of the Company has increased from Rs. 9,29,30,000/- consisting of 92,93,000 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each to Rs. 12,25,96,670/- consisting of 1,22,59,667 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each.
