NHPC signs MoU with Investment Board Nepal, Govt. of Nepal

NHPC Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Investment Board Nepal (IBN), Govt. of Nepal on 18.08.2022 at Kathmandu, Nepal for preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) and development of two hydropower projects namely West Seti (750 MW) and Seti River 6 project (450 MW) in Nepal in the august presence of Shri Sher Bahadur Deuba, Hon'ble Prime Minister of Nepal. The MoU was signed by Shri A. K. Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, NHPC Limited and Shri Sushil Bhatta, Chief Executive Officer, IBN. Other dignitaries were also present during the signing of the Mou.

Shares of NHPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 34.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 34.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 360420 in over 1050 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 34.80 and intraday low of 33.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 12384556.00.
