Genesys International announces partnership with Google to enable the launch of Street View in India

Genesys International Corporation Limited, the pioneer in introducing the first street imaging maps in India, has today announced a partnership with Google, enabling the launch of Google Street View across the country and assisting in the advancement of the Indian mapping revolution.

The Genesys constellation will now serve to bring to life India's lively streets and lanes, where citizens will be able to explore sites and view man-made wonders from the comfort of their own home or anywhere else, using their mobile device.

The capability and technology with Genesys is now enabling capture of almost 150,000 unique kms of street imaging data. To put this number in perspective - the island city of Mumbai is 5000 unique kilometers. Genesys has and is building one of the biggest imaging platforms in India - across both street and aerial - in sync with our PM's vision of Digital India that is reflected in the new geospatial policy.

Over the next 12 months Genesys is working to cover all of urban India street imaging, spanning over a million kilometers, making this the largest street imaging exercise in the country.

Shares of Genesys International Corporation Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 603.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 616.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2446 in over 71 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 628.75 and intraday low of 592.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1513431.00.
