Pre-investment approval accorded for Sawalkot HE Project of NHPC Limited

The Ministry of Power, Govt. of India has accorded investment approval for pre-investment activities for Sawalkot HE Project (1856 MW) in UT of Jammu & Kashmir for an amount of Rs. 973 Crore at November, 2021 price level. The Project is being implemented by NHPC Limited.

Shares of NHPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 33.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 33.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 601158 in over 2663 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 33.75 and intraday low of 33.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 20069128.00.
