POWERGRID declared as successful bidder under TBCB

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has been declared as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding to establish Inter-State transmission system for "Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from Neemuch SEZ" on build, own operate and transfer (BOOT) basis. The Letter of Intent (Loi) dated 07th July 2022 has been issued to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.

The project comprises establishment of two 400kV DIC Transmission lines passing through the states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, a New 400/220kV Pooling Substation at Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh) and 400kV bay extension works.

Shares of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 218.80 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 212.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 945229 in over 7777 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 219.45 and intraday low of 212.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 203460872.00.
