Sadhana Nitro Chem Limited commenced production of its first Para Aminophenol (PAP) plant on the 7th of June, 2022.
The first ten days went towards stabilizing the plant operations.
The company takes pride to announce that plant operations have stabilized as of the 17th of June, 2022 and the company is now introducing the product into the India Pharmaceutical market.
SNCL’s Para Aminophenol is manufactured through a Hydrogen-based catalytic reduction of Nitrobenzene. This is the only the second plant of it’s kind globally.
Para Aminophenol is used primarily for manufacturing of Paracetamol, the world’s largest painkiller. It is also used for other applications such as aerospace, cosmetics, other pharmaceutical applications etc.
As part of the process, the plant will be producing Aniline oil and ammonium Sulphate as well, as co-products. Sales of which will also commence.
Our manufacturing process, has been certified by ICT (formerly UDCT), as clean chemistry, producing zero-effluent, where all output are either saleable products or recycled back (water) into the manufacturing process.
The PAP plant is for both, domestic consumption as well as for exports.
The company has been awarded under the Production Linked Incentive Scheme of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India.
As part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, this plant will reduce dependence on imports of Para Aminophenol, required for critical API, Paracetamol. It will also save the country Foreign Exchange.
The company shall continue to ramp up progressively over the next quarter.
Shares of SADHANA NITROCHEM LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 122.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 120.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 126223 in over 458 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 124.00 and intraday low of 114.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 14955681.00.
