Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd recommends final dividend of Rs. 23

The Board of directors of Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd has at its meeting held on May 25, 2022 approved / recommended, a final dividend of Rs. 23/- (460%) per equity share of Rs. 5/- each including the special dividend of Rs. 15/- per equity share to commemorate the completion of 50 years of its incorporation this year. The final dividend amount, if declared by the Shareholders, is proposed to be paid/ dispatched on or around 4th August, 2022. Earlier an interim dividend of Rs. 25/- (500%) per equity share was paid during the last quarter.

The Company has fixed Monday, 6th June, 2022 as the Record Date for the said purpose. The dividend, if declared, shall be payable to those shareholders whose name appears on the Register of Members or on records of National Securities Depositories Limited or Central Depositories Services (India) Limited as beneficial owners as on said Record Date.

Shares of Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2634.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2592.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3457 in over 818 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2646.65 and intraday low of 2591.80. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9071512.00.
