NHPC recommends final dividend of Rs. 0.50

The Board of Directors of NHPC Limited in its meeting held today i.e. Wednesday, 25th May, 2022 (meeting commenced at 12:00 Noon and concluded at 01:50 P.M.) has recommended final dividend @ 5% of face value of Rs 10/- per share (Re.0.50 per equity share) on the paid up share capital of the Company for the FY 2021-22, subject to approval of shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting. This is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 1.31 per equity share for the FY 2021-22 paid in March, 2022. The final dividend, if declared, will be paid within the statutory period as per the Companies Act, 2013.

Shares of NHPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 31.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 33.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 679106 in over 2935 trades.
