Sakthi Sugars Ltd to sell assets for debt repayment

The Board of Directors of Sakthi Sugars Ltd at its meeting held today (i.e. 2.5.2022) has approved sale of Sugar and Distillery Units of the Company in Dhenkanal District, Orissa State, and Soya Unit at Marchinaickenpalayam Village, Pollachi, Coimbatore District, Tamilnadu for the purpose of raising funds to reduce the liabilities of the Company, subject to the approval of the Members of the Company.

Shares of Sakthi Sugars Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 17.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 18.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 23708 in over 194 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 18.76 and intraday low of 17.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 427282.00.
