Sportking India Ltd updates on expansion projects

The Board of Directors of Sportking India Ltd at their Meeting held on 30th April 2022 discussed and approved the status of ongoing expansion projects.

The Board discussed the progress of the implementation of 10 MW Rooftop Solar Power Project (Green Energy) at Bathinda Unit for captive power consumption and it was informed that 50% capacity is likely to become operational in May 2022 and balance is likely to become operational in June 2022.

The Board discussed the progress the Implementation of additional 40800 Spindles at Bathinda Unit for production of polyester cotton yarn and it was informed that it is going as per schedule and same is likely to start commercial operations in June/ July 2022.

The Board has approved the capacity addition of 63072 Spindles (Second Phase) by way of expansion of Bathinda Unit for manufacturing of cotton compact yarn and same is likely to become operational in Q4 FY2022-23.

Shares of Sportking India Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1310.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1284.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 16513 in over 822 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1325.00 and intraday low of 1260.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 21194042.00.
