Marico Ltd updates on appointment at Marico Bangladesh Ltd

The Board of Directors of Marico Bangladesh Limited ("MBL"), a material subsidiary of Marico Limited has appointed Mr. Rajat Diwakar as Managing Director of MBL with effect from July 1, 2022, subject to approval of shareholders of MBL.

Mr. Ashish Goupal, existing Managing Director of MBL, has been identified for a leadership role in the international business group of Marico Limited as Chief Operating Officer for Bangladesh, MENA and NCD Business. Accordingly, he has been appointed as a Non-Executive / Nominee Director of MBL with effect from July 1, 2022, subject to approval of shareholders of MBL.

Shares of Marico Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 529.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 530.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 29652 in over 1210 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 535.05 and intraday low of 523.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 15676102.00.
