Apcotex Industries Ltd reappoints Shri Abhiraj Choksey as MD

The Board of Directors of Apcotex Industries Ltd at its meeting held today i.e on 29th March 2022, based on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and subject to approval of the shareholders of the Company at the ensuing Annual General Meeting, approved the re-appointment of Shri Abhiraj Choksey as Managing Director of the Company for the period of 3 years with effect from 1st May 2022.

Shri Abhiraj Choksey graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Engineering and Business from Wharton. He worked in strategy consulting and IT in the United States for a few years before joining Apcotex in 2005. He is associated with the Company since 2005 in various capacities and has been the Managing Director since May 2010. He is on the Executive Committee of the Indian Chemical Council (ICC), and an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO).

Shares of Apcotex Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 350.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 361.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 6865 in over 452 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 369.60 and intraday low of 346.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2469893.00.
