Oman Flour Mills goes live with Sectrio's Intrusion and Threat Detection and Management platform

Ruwi, Oman-based Oman Flour Mills Company is now being secured by Sectrio's Threat Detection and Management platform. Oman's leading food and allied products manufacturer is now relying on Sectrio to secure its entire digital footprint across operations, shopfloors, health and safety equipment, facilities, and locations.

Sectrio's platform was commissioned as part of a project initiated by Oman Flour Mills to detect and neutralize OT and IoT cyber threats early. As part of the overall project, Sectrio's platform is currently monitoring and detecting all forms of threats flowing through Oman Flour Mills Infrastructure within Oman to ensure complete and comprehensive security within the cyberspace connected with it.

Sectrio platform analyzes system activity across all operations, devices and covers all system and network activities to identify signatures / malicious patterns that pose a threat. It helps in detecting internal as well as external threats, intrusion attempts and cyber potential risks. In addition to reduced false positives due to accurate and contextual threat intelligence, it can also identify and act on anomalies that bear a very low detection footprint. The platform follows a threat lifecycle coverage approach.

"We decided to choose Sectrio's Intrusion and Threat Detection and Management platform after conducting a multi-stage diligence activity spanning various vendors and capabilities. We decided to go with Sectrio as their offering was most suited to covering our threat profile and the features were more relevant towards reducing our risk exposure. Since deployment, we are now able to manage all our cybersecurity requirements across our infrastructure from a single platform," said Naji Darwish Said Al Wahaibi, IT Manager at Oman Flour Mills.

Shares of Subex Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 34.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 34.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 664619 in over 2768 trades.
