MEP Infrastructure Developers Ltd arm engaged for collection of user fee at Sergarh Fee Plaza

MEP Infrastructure Developers Ltd's Step-down Subsidiary viz. Bhalaji Toll Road Private Limited (BTRPL) has received a Letter of Award (LOA) dated 14th March, 2022 from National Highways Authority of India ("NHAI") informing that BTRPL has been engaged as the user fee collection agency on the basis of competitive bidding through e-tender for Sergarh Fee Plaza, at km 97.960 (Old km 182.175) for the section from km 143.635 to km 80.994 (Bhadrak to Balasore Section) of NH-5, in the State of Odisha.

Key highlights of the Project are as under:

User Fee Collection rights at Sergarh Fee Plaza.

Terms of the Contract Agreement:

a. Period of Contract is 1 (one) year.
b. The operations will commence after 12 (twelve) days from the date of issuance of LOA.
(iii) The contractual amount for the said Project is Rs. 65,07,00,000/- (Rupees Sixty Five Crores Seven Lakhs only) payable to NHAI on weekly remittance.

Shares of MEP Infrastructure Developers Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 20.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 20.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 27596 in over 151 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 20.90 and intraday low of 20.45. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 568032.00.
