Syngene International Ltd updates on independent director

Dr Carl Decicco, Director (DIN: 08576667) has informed Syngene International Ltd that he has not been able to appear for the Online Proficiency Test conducted by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs before the due date of February 27, 2022 and has accordingly ceased to be an Independent Director of the Company with effect from February 28, 2022.

The Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Dr Carl Decicco as Additional Director (Non-executive Non-independent) of the Company with effect from March 01, 2022 till three months from the date of his appointment or the next general meeting of the Company, whichever is earlier.

Shares of Syngene International Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 542.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 542.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 12216 in over 845 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 552.60 and intraday low of 531.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 6604712.00.
