Page Industries Ltd appoints Mr. V S Ganesh as MD

The Board of Directors of Page Industries Ltd, at its meeting held on 1st March 2022, has considered and approved the changes in board.

Mr. Sunder Genomal, will transition to the role of Non-Executive Chairman with effect from 1st June, 2022 and Mr. V S Ganesh has been appointed as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer as 'Managing Director' with effect from 1st June, 2022, subject to the approval of shareholders of the Company.

On the appointment as Chairman, Mr. Sunder Genomal said "I will continue to serve the Page Board and contribute in whatever way I can to Page's success and long-term growth. As prospective Non-Executive Chairman, I look forward to offering guidance as a mentor and sounding board to the MD and being a companion to the Page team in their journey towards many more milestones. In this new role, I will continue to see myself as the conscience keeper of Page Industries, as the custodian of its values, governance, ethical and moral principles and will continue to oversee the interests of all its stakeholders. I congratulate Mr. Ganesh on being chosen as my successor. I have worked closely with Mr. Ganesh for over 7 years now. He is an inspiring leader and I have no doubt that he will continue to uphold the culture and values of the organization".

Mr. V S Ganesh, Executive Director - Manufacturing & Operations, joined Page on 9 June 2014 as Senior Vice President - Mfg. & Operations. He has 30 years of rich experience and has worked in top leadership capacities in Page and other reputed organizations. Prior to joining Page, Mr. V S Ganesh has had both top & bottom line and organization development responsibilities in his capacity as CEO in fairly large apparel MNCs.

In addition to Manufacturing & Operations, Mr. Ganesh oversees the areas of Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Planning, Centre of Excellence for Operations, Sourcing & Procurement, Quality Assurance, Warehousing & Logistics, Projects and Environment, Health & Safety. As a key member of the Top Management Committee, he has been deeply involved in strategic planning and business transformation initiatives across all facets of the business. His credentials, proven track record, commitment and contributions speak for themselves.

Shares of Page Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 42246.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 41535.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 679 in over 503 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 42496.35 and intraday low of 40501.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 28118190.00.
