Shri Anil Kumar Misra appointed as a Director of PNB

Shri Anil Kumar Misra has been appointed as a Director of Punjab National Bank under Section 9(3)(c) of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, in terms of Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India notification eF.No. 6/3/2011-BO.1 dated 25.02.2022 until further orders, vice Shri Vivek Aggarwal (who ceased to be a director on the Board of the Bank upon such appointment post business hours on 25.02.2022).

Shri Anil Kumar Misra superannuated as an Executive Director of Reserve Bank of India on 31.07.2018.

Shares of Punjab National Bank was last trading in BSE at Rs. 35.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 32.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 12828688 in over 23408 trades.
