Sumit Mazumder resigns as Chairman of Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd

The Board of Directors at its meeting held today i.e. 18th February, 2022 has noted the resignation of Shri Sumit Mazumder (DIN: 00116654) as an Independent Director and Chairman of the Board with effect from today i.e. 18th February, 2022. Shri Mazumder informed that the resignation is purely on account of personal reasons and to pursue areas of his interest / hobbies. Shri Mazumder has also confirmed that there are no other material reasons attributable / connected with the Company for his resignation.

The Company wishes to place on record its sincere appreciation for the support and valuable guidance provided by Shri Sumit Mazumder during his tenure as an Independent Director and Chairman of the Board.

Shares of Balrampur Chini Mills Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 401.30 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 406.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 70643 in over 2135 trades.
