Vindhya Telelinks JV receives LoA for new EPC projects

Vindhya Telelinks Limited (Lead Bidder) in Joint Venture with a Partner (unrelated party), has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for four (4) new EPC Projects namely, "Survey, Design, Preparation of DPR, Construction, Commissioning and O&M for 10 years of Rural Water Supply" for total 3787 villages in the following districts of Uttar Pradesh from the State Water & Sanitation Mission, Namami Gange & Rural Water Supply Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh:

Lucknow (Revenue Division) - Lakhimpur district - 500 villages
Ayodhya (Revenue Division) - Ambedkar Nagar district - 1375 villages
Kanpur (Revenue Division) - Kanpur Nagar district - 542 villages
Moradabad (Revenue Division) - Bijnor district - 1370 villages

Approximate aggregate value (as per tender estimates) of the above four projects is Rs. 3787 Crores plus Rs. 952 Crores of Operation & Maintenance (O&M). The exact value will be known after preparation and approval of Detailed Project Reports. The Projects contract period is of 18 months and is to be operated for 10 years, post commissioning. The JV Partner share in the project may be maximum upto 600 villages.

Shares of Vindhya Telelinks Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1306.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1270.70. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9590 in over 1699 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1370.00 and intraday low of 1224.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 12649491.00.
