Greenpanel Industries shuts down MDF plant operations at Chittoor temporarily

Greenpanel Industries Ltd has announced that the manufacturing operations at its MDF plant situated at Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh shall remain closed for a period of about 8 days (approx.) w.e.f. January L7, 2022, due to addition of new machinery (Mat Heating System) to speed up the production process and increase the capacity utilization.

An estimated expenditure of Rs.8-10 crore (approx.) shall be incurred for addition of the above machinery and likely to result increase in production capacity of the plant from existing 3,60,000 CBM to revised 4,44,000 CBM (approx.) per annum.

Shares of Greenpanel Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 452.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 446.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 25249 in over 1408 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 454.60 and intraday low of 440.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 11336542.00.
